About Direct Line travel insurance

Travel insurance from Direct Line comes in three forms: single-trip, multi-trip and discoverer. Single trip is perfect for those who don't go on more than two holidays a year, multi-trip cover provides the same benefits but at an overall reduced price if you go on three or more trips per year and the discoverer policy offers added protection for adventure sports.

You can also benefit from a 15% discount when you apply online.

What you should know

If you take out annual travel multi-trip travel insurance with Direct Line you can be confident in the knowledge that you are covered for:

  • 24 Hour travel assistant helpline for travel advice
  • Up to £500 for lost or stolen money
  • Up to £5m for continuous medical expenses
  • Up to £2,000 to be transferred to a hospital nearer your house if you are injured whilst travelling in the UK
