Halifax offer a choicce between single trip, annual and worldwide cover. Single trip is ideal if you travel once or twice per year and if you go on three or more holidays then annual cover offers the same high level of protection at an overall reduced cost. Worldwide cover is perfect for people who are planning on taking a long trip and will cover any travels up to a staggering 365 days long.

Halifax also offer customers a 10% discount when they buy their policy online.

What you should know

If you take out travel insurance from Halifax you will have protection should the worst happen. Cover includes:

  • Up to £5,000 for cancellation of curtailment
  • Up to £10m for a medical emergency
  • Up to £1,000 for missed departure
  • Cover for lost of stolen luggage

Anything else?

Halifax does not include ski cover as standard as this would add to the cost of policies for those who don't need it however customers have the option to add both wintersports and golf cover to their policies.
